The following are parks, picnic and camping areas scattered all over Lake Tahoe.
El Dorado is located between Rufus Allen and Lakeview in South Lake Tahoe . They have rest rooms, picnic and BBQ facilities.
Fallen Leaf Lake is located at Fallen Leaf Road , off the State Route 89. It offers boat launch, Fallen Leaf Lake Lodge, rest rooms, picnic and BBQ facilities.
Kiva is located at 2.5 miles north of the Y . It offers rest rooms, picnic facilities, and BBQ. Dogs on leash are allowed.
Nevada Beach is located at Elk Point Road near Round Hill off U.S. Highway 50. It offers boat-in at south end, rest rooms, picnic facilities and BBQ.
Pope Beach is located at 2 miles north of the Y . It has a parking fee. Rest rooms, picnic facilities and BBQ are provided.
Regan Beach located at Lakeview and Sacramento in South Lake Tahoe . It provides food concessions, rest rooms, picnic facilities, playgrounds. The following are not allowed in the area: dogs, fire and alcohol.
Spooner Lake located at U.S. Highway 50 and State Route 28, Nevada State Parks. It offers hiking trails, a lovely lake, plus rest rooms, picnic facilities and BBQ.
Zephyr Cove located at Zephyr Cove. It offers rentals, cruises, food, rest rooms and BBQ. A parking fee is charged.
Coon St. Picnic Area located at East end of Kings Beach. The site has rest rooms, picnic facilities, BBQ and boat launch.
Commons Beach is located at the center of Tahoe City , beach with large grassy area, rest rooms, picnic facilities, BBQ.
Kilner Park is located at State Route 89 and Ward Avenue. It offers 300 feet of splendid beach, plus tennis, volleyball and bike trails.
Kings Beach Recreation Area located at the center of Kings Beach. It offers rest rooms, playgrounds, and there s a parking fee.
Lake Forest Beach located at 1 mile east of Tahoe City . It provides rest rooms, picnic facilities, fire pits / grills, playgrounds and boat launch.
North Tahoe Beach Center is located at Kings Beach , across from Safeway and off Highway 28. It has a volleyball court, picnic facilities, and of course, a long wide beach to bask in.
North Tahoe Regional Park is located at National Avenue in Tahoe Vista . It offers picnic area, trails, softball, rest rooms, picnic facilities, firepots / grills and playgrounds.
Sand Harbor is located at South of Incline Village on State Route 28, part of Nevada State Parks . It offers a sandy beach, boat launch, beach patrol and rest rooms. Parking fee applicable.
Tahoe State Recreation Area is located in Tahoe City , near shopping malls and restaurants. It offers campgrounds and a beach open from dawn to dusk. Enjoy panoramic views of Ponderosa and Jefferey pine groves from the park.
Truckee Regional Park is located at Highway 267 in Truckee . It offers par course, baseball, tennis, rest rooms, picnic facilities and BBQ.
West End Beach is located at Donner Lake. Fees are required. Provided are concessions and restrooms, plus facilities for volleyball, tennis and picnics.
Kaspian Recreation Area is located at the south of Sunnyside on State Route 89. It offers campsites across the highway, rest rooms, picnic facilities, BBQ.
Meeks Bay Campground is located 10 miles south of Tahoe City . It offers a white sand beach, boat launch, rest rooms, and picnic facilities. Day use fees are charged.
Sugar Pine Point Park is located at South of Tahoma on State Route 89. It has a parking fee and provides a pier, rest rooms, picnic facilities, BBQ. You can also check out the Erhman Mansion.
