Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Incline Village

Also at Sand Harbor Beach, the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is held outdoors with the lake as a backdrop, from mid-July through August. It s an exciting way to enrich your Tahoe vacation. If you've never visited the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival before, or if you're a seasoned veteran of our performances, 2006 is set to be a wonderful year on the beaches of Lake Tahoe's Sand Harbor State Park.

There are three classes of seating at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival : preferred, early admission and general admission. Early admission gives the best opportunity to get a good spot. Arrive by about 5:00 and get in line for the best seats.

Festival

For more than 25 years, people have spread out mats on the pristine beaches, complete with wine and cheese, and enjoyed the bard at his best. The wind off the lake gets quite chilly after dark so it s good to bring a blanket or extra clothing. Food stands are available inside the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival entrance. You can also bring your own of course. Bring a flashlight for the trip back to your car for the parking lot is not lighted.
